Director Paul Furminger and the team at Goldtooth Creative once again outdid themselves, blending cutting-edge technical excellence with captivating storytelling and arresting visuals that are sure to excite PROTOTYPE fans, new and old. Goldtooth staff produced all visuals in-house using animation, VFX and compositing to stage the action and set the tone while utilizing motion capture techniques and CG to realize the gritty state of New York Zero and its infected inhabitants.

The sequel to Radical Entertainment’s best-selling open-world action game of 2009, PROTOTYPE 2 takes the unsurpassed carnage of the original game and continues the experience of becoming the ultimate shape-shifting weapon. SANTA MONICA, CA, Oct. 12, 2011 — Things are about to get ‘real’ as Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) confirmed today that PROTOTYPE 2Radical Entertainment’s highly anticipated open-world/action thriller — will be playable for the first time ever at New York Comic-Con in the Activision booth (#738). In addition to giving fans a first taste of what PROTOTYPE 2′s new shape-shifting protagonist Sgt. James Heller is all about, Radical will also showcase part two of the game’s stunning three-part CG trailer series at www.prototypegame.com on Friday, October 14, and has revealed the innovative online Infected monster creation tool PROTOTHINGY.

“A few months ago, we let our fans see PROTOTYPE 2 for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con, and now we have put together two great playable missions for New York Comic-Con,” said Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment. “The first mission touches lightly on Heller’s story, while the other is something we call a ‘Rampage Challenge’ — where it’s all about the action and players can compete for the best score. Both missions will give fans an initial taste of what’s in store when the final version of PROTOTYPE 2 comes out in April next year.”

Beyond the first-time playable PROTOTYPE 2 goodness on the show floor at New York Comic-Con, Radical Entertainment is also extremely proud to announce the online Infected monster creation tool PROTOTHINGY — an all-new way to become an even more hardcore PROTOTYPE fan. With PROTOTYPE 2‘s online monster creation tool, users can mix and match from a hilarious library of Infected arms, legs, eyeballs, props and more to piece together their very own Infected beast.

October 8, 2011 – Vancouver, B.C.: Goldtooth Creative’s Deus Ex: Human Revolution CG Director’s Cut video game trailer has been voted as the top trailer of all time by users at GameTrailers.com.

“Out of all the trailers in the history of our database, the one rated highest by fans is this CG introduction to the seedy world of Deus Ex: Human Revolution,” announced GameTrailers.com on October 8. “It creates dream-induced symbolism like Assassin’s Creed, spins webs of conspiracy like Metal Gear, and sells a believable world like Bioshock, while still regenerating fond memories of the original. This trailer’s unique vibe garners a dedicated following with an alarmingly crisp level of detail and narration so gruff you could use it for sandpaper. Your love for this video is more human than human, making it the best video game trailer of all time according to you, the fans.”

Goldtooth Creative president and creative director Kody Sabourin directed the award-winning trailer. Responsible for the Deus Ex: Human Revolution trailer campaign, Goldtooth, an independent creative agency and full-service production studio, contributed four high-resolution CG trailers, 10 game trailers, two TV spots and three viral live-action spots along with 60 minutes of in-game cinematics. Goldtooth Creative’s Paul Furminger also directed the video game’s live-action opening credit sequence.

Deus Ex:Human Revolution was developed by Eidos-Montreal (A Square Enix Group Company) and had shipped in excess of two million units within weeks of its release this past summer. Goldtooth Creative had an integral role in conveying the artistic vision of the game to the public and contributed significantly to building up the substantial anticipation surrounding the title.

In September, staff at GameTrailers.com had ranked the CG director’s cut trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution at no. 77 on its Top 100 Trailers of All Time list. Goldtooth Creative’s Purity First live-action spot, also directed by Sabourin, for Deus Ex: Human Revolution was named no. 83 on the Top 100 Trailers of All Time list.

Since its inception in July 2008, Goldtooth Creative has emerged as an industry leader in the development and creation of full marketing campaigns for top-selling video games produced by some of the biggest names in the industry.
